Not medical advice

SoberUp is a personal self-tracking tool designed to help you log your sobriety, cravings, savings, and journal entries. It is not a medical device, medical advice, diagnosis, therapy, counseling, or a substitute for professional treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your treatment, medication, or recovery plan. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or logged in this app.

Not a crisis service

SoberUp cannot help you in an emergency. If you or someone you know is in crisis, at risk of self-harm, or experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, please contact emergency services or a licensed provider immediately.

  • US — 988: Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or call 911 for emergencies.
  • US — SAMHSA National Helpline: 1-800-662-4357 — free, confidential, 24/7 treatment referral.
  • UK — Samaritans: Call 116 123 (free, 24/7), or 999 for emergencies.
  • EU: 112 for emergencies, or find a local helpline at findahelpline.com.
  • Anywhere else: Contact your local emergency number, or search findahelpline.com for a crisis line in your country.

Withdrawal can be dangerous

Quitting some substances abruptly — including alcohol and benzodiazepines — can cause severe or life-threatening withdrawal. Talk to a doctor before stopping. SoberUp does not evaluate your medical risk and does not tell you whether it is safe for you to quit.

Your responsibility

By using SoberUp you acknowledge that any actions you take based on information in the app are your own responsibility, and that SoberUp and its operators are not liable for outcomes related to your recovery journey.
